The good news is that Lights Out’s surprisingly-released debut album is simply great. The bad news is that it’s probably also their last one.

The quartet from Cluj-Napoca didn’t give us many signs of life recently, so that made the surprise even bigger. Throughout the 8 tracks that make up “Chakora”, Lights Out draw us into their dreamy half-light and beautiful, slow-burning melodies.

Unfortunely, it is their first and last record, since Teodora, the lead singer, moved to London. But who knows? These days you can make a record over the internet, so we might hear something new from them.
