Charlie reportedly fell in love with music at the age 6 and even two years spent in Singaporean army couldn’t stop this affair.
In the recent years, he’s been touring all around South-Eastern Asia and beyond, and his famous single “Bitter” will make you wish he’d visit your neighbourhood too.
We’ve been listening to this song for about two years now, but only now it’s finally got a visual treatment from Anita Lester, an Australian artist whose “gothic but childlike Burton-esque” video gives this single a second life.
“I wanted a simple but strong narrative, as if you were reading a children’s storybook,” Charlie explained. “Anita’s illustrations were perfect for this video – which shows life as both kind and tragic, beautiful and cruel, comical yet dark at the same time.”
“Bitter” is one of 10 songs Charlie included on his second album, “Time/Space”, which you can stream in its entirety here.
