El Viejo Hombre de Los Andes, or EVHA, as they first came into the local panorama have been somewhat of a mysterious band, discreetly releasing three songs to the internet from about a year ago.

The most dazzling of these efforts by far has been “Uiuí”, for which the band released a live studio recording in a very stylish, attractive video that highlights their energetic performance about a month and a half ago.

Since then they’ve revealed a release window for their debut album, slated for next month and titled, simply, “El Viejo Hombre de los Andes”, or “The Old Man of the Andes”.
