Jodamassa are back with their third record, an album with a sound reminiscent of earlier alternative from the south of Ecuador, yet filled with fresh themes and fantastic contemporary songwriting.

In the title track, “Esteban Albino”, the band moves through several soundscapes as they paint apocalyptic imagery with their lyrics that lead up to the scorching finale where an anguished voice gets layered on top of squealing guitars for intensity.

The entirety of their new album is a prime example of the polished works that some of the younger bands in the local scene are steering towards, a very exciting panorama for local music.
