A long-running band from Seoul, Hanumpa (한음파) released a new single called “Farewell” at the beginning of this year.
Future members of Hanumpa met in the high school, and they formed the band in 1999, after they had finished the military service. They paused their career in 2002, but then reformed again in 2007.
Hanumpa are faithful to the general mood of “Korean rock”. A little bit psychedelic, a little bit fuzzy. As they are making their next move right now, they will certainly preserve the respect they have in the Korean scene.
