You might know her as a singer in one of the hottest Latin bands of the last decade, Calle 13, where she performs under the moniker “PG-13”. At the end of 2012, however, Ileana released a single song under her own name. It was a rendition of a classic bolero, “La Pared”, originally written by a Puerto Rican composer Roberto Anglero. The tune’s been covered over sixty times so far, but Ileana’s passionate and breathtakingly beautiful execution has to count among the very best of attempts.
