Sometimes recollections make us feel “Memai”, vertigo. A melody comes and goes like tides and waves, guitar and synthesizer express love that is long gone. Psychedelic funk four-piece mitsume (ミツメ) cut out unnecessary sounds to let in blank spaces into their angular and groovy rock, simple but powerful.

Manabu Deto (出戸学) once said that mistume has a kind of same taste as OGRE YOU ASSHOLE. These two bands are influenced by ethnic music from all around the world and from all ages.

One more thing to say, mistume’s members don’t like typical cool sounds and lyrics. Instead, they have the tendency to choose phrases that make us laugh lightly.
