Jyocho

Math-rock combined with multicolored pop melodies and cinematic flute parts is what Kyoto-based project Jyocho offer us on their second mini-album, “Day in the Bluish House”.

Former guitarist of acclaimed math-rock band Uchu Conbini, Daijiro Nakagawa a.k.a. JYOCHO will play “Next Music from Tokyo” Canadian tour in October 2017 with his second mini-album “Day in the Bluish House”.

Based in Kyoto, Daijiro has been working intensely on his solo project JYOCHO. He has made this album in less than one year since his first release. This time, his band members are bassist Sindee, drummer Hatch, new flute player Hachi and new female singer, keyboard player Nekota Netako.

JYOCHO will play first overseas shows with these new members. Check out their official video
“A Glass of Night” below and album trailer, and before you go to their concert. Through this new record, they express fragile and gloomy emotions you have when you’re young, but they give us a little bit of hope as well.
