If the music of Liraz makes you confused at the first listen, that’s actually the very right effect of her bewildering performances.

Liraz Charhi was born in Israel, but she’s a dedicated explorer of her parents’ homeland Iran. Adding all kinds of modern inspirations to the one and only mix, she constantly steers between the contemporary and the traditional.

Earlier this year, she debuted with an impressive song called “Nozi Nozi”, written by Ali Nazari and, quite dramatically, performed live in the video below. Apart from her outstanding voice and a standard rock equipment, you will also hear violin and oud.
