Soothing melodies from LUWTEN, a promising new name in the Dutch music scene who are set to release their debut album this spring.

LUWTEN is a new band formed by Tessa Douwstra. She and her band started playing last year supporting Eefje De Visser on her European tour. In between playing LUWTEN luckily found time to work on their self-titled debut album, from which the addictive “Go Honey” is a first taste.

The music of LUWTEN is subtle and melodic, combining soothing melodies with playful electronics. Unfortunately a release date for the debut hasn’t been announced yet, but considering there’s a pre-order option on their website it shouldn’t be too long before we get to here more from this promising foursome.
