Nikola Muchová – performing together with a number of established musicians under the moniker Mucha – has always had appetite for a meaningful provocation.

With a second album currently out, she has made a video for one of the most popular songs from her debut, a song whose title can be roughly translated as “All Guys Are Pricks”.

Aptly labelling her music as “femi punk” or “schlager cabaret”, Mucha touches on a number of subjects, drawing not only from her own experiences of a single mother but also those of the people around her.

Rough, cheeky, but also musically playful Mucha is one of those artists successfully (both her albums were released after crowdfunding campaigns) distorting the Czech mainstream.
