Ogre You Asshole

Formed in 2001, Ogre You Asshole originally took influences from groups like Modest Mouse, Talking Heads and Can. But how would you define the lead single from their 6th full-length album, “Paper Craft” (ペーパークラフト)?

Sweet vocals, exotic repetitive percussion, and jazzy sax – all accompanied by a clay animation created by the band’s singer and guitarist, Manabu Deto. “Muda ga Naitte Subarashii” is a remarkable song from a remarkable Japanese band.
