Innovative and inimitable duo OY is readying their new full-length album for autumn, but they’ve already shared the first taste.

Consisting of Ghanaian-Swiss singer Joy Frempong and producer/multi-instrumentalist Lleluja-Ha, the duo (currently based in Berlin) have been collecting inspirations from all around the world, though of course with a special focus on Africa.

Their next LP, “Space Diaspora”, apparently adds cosmic ideas to their already-rich sound (and visual) palette. Although it has been scheduled for September, OY already posted a fantastic first video off the album called “A New Planet Is Born”.

Next week, OY will perform at the World Sacred Music Festival in Morocco, and then they’ll be back in Europe for a number of concerts around the old continent. Don’t miss them if they come somewhere close.
