In their comeback single, Croatia’s Pips, Chips & Videoclips pay homage to the French explorer and director Jacques Cousteau.
Pips, Chips & Videoclips are one of the best indie bands in Croatia. During years, they have changed their style several times, but now they have returned to the sound which has always worked best for them – britpop ballads.
After the great success of the latest album “Walt” (2013), they have taken a small pause from recording, so the new single “Jacques Cousteau” is a suprise for all of us. In this song, they pay homage to Jacques Cousteau in a similar way they previously have for Walt Disney or Fred Astaire.
For their new album, we will still need to wait a little bit more, because this single is not a single off an upcoming full-length. Let’s enjoy “Jacques Cousteau” while we’re waiting.
