Beijing-based indie pop singer-songwriter Wang Shengnan (王胜男) continues re-imagining herself on her latest self-titled LP released a few weeks ago.

With lush production (from Malaysian producers Yahna & Vmprmyth) that favors jazzy riffs and an indietronic coolness, the artists excels on singles like “Crippled Cat” (瘸腿的猫), an instantly humable tune that’s as breezy and light on its feet as it is packed with vibrant assured atmospheric production.
