YankaNoi

Yumiko has a very mysterious voice that sounds as if it came from an old record player.

She usually plays accordion, glocken, and toys – as a member of Shugo Tokumaru band. But in this project called YanKaNoi (ヤンカノイ) she sings, plays various instruments, and she’s written all songs by herself. And Shugo’s band members back her up, with Shugo on guitar and piano, Kei Tanaka on contrabass, and Yoshinari Kishida on drums.

If you like this song, you can also check out the cover version of “Chigareta Umi” performed by Oh Shu, whom you might already know from beehype.
