Anushka Chkheidze

Electronic music with rich and colourful influences through times.

Creative Education Studio (CES), founded in 2012, as a small art school, has been expanding and offering ever more diverse curricula, including graphic and video design, sound engineering and many different courses in music. In recent years, quite a number of talented musicians have emerged among its graduates.

Anushka Chkheidze is one such young prospect. Having honed her musical skills in CES, she presents us electronic music with rich and colourful influences through times, combining the chill of 80s analog sound (think Jean-Michel Jarre of that period) with propulsive (though not necessarily danceable) rhythmic patterns.

Her debut album, called “Halfie”, mixed and mastered at Lenø Records, has been released on a vinyl by CES Records, a label that school itself maintains. “Lingotto” is one of the pieces from this work, with video directed by Anna Sarukhanova.

Stream “Halfie” LP on Bandcamp and Spotify.
