Pérez is one of the best-kept secrets of the Argentinean indie scene (and that’s actually a pity). They’re based in La Plata, Buenos Aires province, and this year they published their third LP, “La hora de los pájaros”.
The opening track off the record is “Astronauta” (Spanish for “Astronaut”), which in the title already warns us what we’re going to listen in the next 40 minutes: space-rock, guitars, pedals, but with accessible melodies and stoical lyrics, which results in great pop tunes.
