Go Barefoot are an indie rock band from Johannesburg who’s new single, “I Won’t Back Down”, has been described by Amber Valentine of The Motherland as “…the soundtrack (if such a soundtrack exists) to running through the sprinkler on a hot day.”

Sol Gems came out of left field and totally blew away the South African music with their alternative garage psychedelic rock sound. This three-piece based out of Johannesburg have had a great year after releasing two tracks ‘Standing with the Sun” and “Under the Palms”, playing various venues around South Africa. I can foresee big things on the horizon for them.

Who would of thought that a collaboration between an indie rock band and an electronic rap group could be so good. P.H.fat and Al Bairre have headlined festivals throughout South Africa and have performed abroad in London and Australia and have gained a huge fan base while doing so.
