Formed in 2012 in Manila, electropop group Autotelic cleverly mend Filipino pop sensibilities with post-punk and disco traditions while nurturing a sound they can confidently call their own.

Autotelic’s new single “Dahilan” shows no shame in mining the essentials of a pop anthem, but underneath the cheery surface lies a serious message – and a serious cause.

If you purchase this song on Bandcamp, all proceeds will go directly to the victims of typhoon Mario that flooded Metro Manila two months ago.

You can find more music from Autotelic on their Soundcloud. Or you can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
