Digging in the traditional hill/folk songs for half of his life, Hakka master Ayugo Huang has been making Hakka songs more accessible to the general listeners.

By combining Hakka traditional music and blues rock, the song “Western” (西部) proves that even folk song can be both catchy and meaningful with flawless rhymes and beautiful melodies.
