Baustelle is a Tuscanian band born in the late 90s. They’ve started with a mixture of indie and chamber pop with lyrics covering youth, beauty and innocence. But their latest full-length “Fantasma” is a concept album about adultness and death. Very solemn and inspired by the great tradition of Italian songwriters such as Fabrizio De Andrè or Franco Battiato. “La Morte (non esiste più)” brings a good news though: in the presence of love “the death no longer exists” – which is the meaning of the title.
