Bazart

When being asked which kind of music is really popular in Belgium nowadays, many people will answer “Tomorrowland music”. Others will probably mention dreamy indie pop, which has been taken to a higher level by bands like Oscar and the Wolf during the past 12 or 18 months.

Whenever you are associated with one specific genre, it is hard to stand out, but Bazart does it anyway. First of all they do so because their first single “Tunnels” was very strong, and the younger brother called “Goud” is even better.

What makes Bazart extra special is that they sing in Dutch, while staying lightyears away from all the clichés that are associated with singing in this language. The future looks bright, or, as we say in Dutch, “de toekomst ziet er goed uit”.
