If songs had a face, this one would be covered with a towel, having “mystery” written all over it. Why? It sounds like a lullaby that’s made to wake you up, for example, rather than to help you get asleep.

It tries to calm you down and stimulate you to dance at the same time. But then again it stays very natural, you never get the impression that someone mistakenly poured salt in your coffee.

Apart from this, “Brussels” is a great piece of music with some pretty upbeat acoustics and a warm voice that keeps you cozy on a dark winter night. It has some unexpected and interesting dynamics, which cause it to read like a book.

The good thing is that you can write parts of the story yourself and that it can change every time. Whatever the story, “Brussels” remains an excellent tune.
