The new album from Blanch sounds like a walk in a garden – blooming with emotions and stories.
A Slovak singer, producer and the core of her musical project Blanch just released a new album. Blanch comes up with a collection of songs of a more folk sound compared to her previous releases. Also her melancholy impression is replaced with much more cheer than we were used to in her case.
“Her In Me” is based on a concept of talking to and rediscovering her inner self and the idea comes back in waves throughout the whole record. It’s also the first time that we can hear lyrics in Slovak on such a scale (plus a bit of Spanish thanks to a guest appearance of Faye).
Thanks to the uplifting mood, “Her In Me” sounds like a walk in a garden blooming with Blanch’s emotions and stories she lived in the last year or two.
Although it’s the last song, “Safe Room” undoubtedly is a fundamental single (expanding the topic of the whole release and musically an absolutely catchy tune).
Blanch performs live with a band and together they truthfully transform the mood from the album, sometimes you might think of Daughter sound.
Either live or from the record, I cant imagine anyone who wouldn’t benefit from being introduced to “Her In Me”.
