What is more important, quality or quantity?
Definitely the first, we’d say, even though LUIK Records proves that both can be combined. The self-titled album by It It Anita in 2015 was the first achievement of this very young and very active label, counting about 30 releases in just two years.
In 2016 Blondy Brownie and LUIK Records worked together for the digital release of “Almanach”. The good news is that in October this album will also become available on vinyl. To announce and to celebrate this, the band made a video for “Enfin”.
The intro reminds you of the 80s, and seems to come straight from an album by Siouxsie and the Banshees. Once the vocals kick in, you get the impression though that you’re on a bus towards the Côte d’Azur of the 1960s, definitely a stunning place and time, and still very nice and relevant, also in 2017.
