It would be unfair to refer to Boreals as a secret of some kind. After their last year’s album “Antípodas” (released on Irregular label), this young trio – they’re all less than 25 – have developed into something completely exportable.

Over several EP’s their sound has moved away from pure sonido barcetrónico to something more global, related to Mogwai or Boards of Canada. Boreals are science and myth, light and shadow, the eternal battle between synth and guitars; and we don’t want a winner.
