The rising scene of Argentinean urban music has been growing for the last couple of years, with a big explosion of trap in 2018.
One of the main exponent of this movement is the duo Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, two guys who are 25 years old and offer a darker twist to the trap scene in Argentina.
Their biggest hit, up to now, is “OUKE”. Released as a single – as the genre demands – its video shows an improvised performance in a typical Argentinean restaurant, in a cinematographic scenery. It also features Esteban Lamothe, a famous actor who is mentioned in the lyrics of the song.
Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso have already played at big festivals in and out of the country, and their audience is constantly growing, expecting their next big hit as they attend sold-out shows. The duo’s next big move is their debut in Spain: they’re billed in this year’s edition of the prestigious Sónar festival.
