Cairobi, previously known as Vadoinmessico, is an international band whose members have origins in Italy, Mexico, France and Austria – but based in London.
In 2012 they released, under the old monicker, the album titled “Archeology of the Future”, an outstanding work of indie folk. Afterwards, they deservedly became popular getting good reviews from critics around Europe.
On February 16th their new EP, “Distant Fire”, will appear in stores and it will be their first record signed as Cairobi (certainly an easier name for English speakers), which marks the transition of the band’s sound to an interesting modern psychedelic pop.
The single “Zoraide” is quickly getting good outputs and it’s already known for being the soundtrack of Halfords Christmas advert.
