Cienfue

Result of two years of hard work, Cienfue’s new album is worth its title. In a local Panamanian jargon, “Mounstro” means “Outstanding”.

Influenced especially by reggae, dub and urban music, but also electronica, rock and folk, Cienfue – or Camilo Navarro – has been developing his beat-driven sound for ten years now.

On “Mounstro”, this Panamá-based musician mixed so many ideas that when he was officially launching the record during a live show in Teatro Amador a few weeks ago, he invited 15 musicians on stage.

Due to its veriety this 12-track collection is worth at least one listen as a whole. But here’s one of our favourite tracks and also a recent single, “Buenas Noches”, accompanied by a video directed by Eddy Bayes.
