The coolest music videos in Belgium these days come from Desselgem-based duo Compact Disk Dummies.

While it would be exaggerated to say that a band like OK GO is only famous because of their vids, no one will deny that the band’s reputation got a boost because of the original footage that accompanied their songs.

The band that’s currently making the coolest music videos in Belgium is called Compact Disk Dummies. What makes them even more special is that the members, Lennert and Janus Coorevits, make those vids themselves!

Apart from this, “Remain in Light” – their most recent single – is also a perfect pop tune: a catchy intro sung by some children, percussion that is very much to the point, and an irresistible bass line, this song has got it all.

After having won Humo’s Rock Rally, Belgium’s most important rock contest, in 2012, Compact Disk Dummies didn’t start releasing music like madmen, but they took their time to write songs that will be able to pass the test of time. “Remain in Light” is definitely one of those.
