In 2011 Criolo released “Nó na orelha,” an album highly praised both in Brazil and outside that showed his versatility as the rapper, singer and composer.
Now with his new full-length work “Convoque seu buda” he further enhances this ability. Songs on his third LP mix different elements of Brazilian music such as hip-hop, samba, reggae and rock. Criolo has also become more mature musically.
With its direct message criticizing the police, racism, consumerism and even the World Cup “Esquiva da Esgrima” is a good introduction to disk.
But make no mistake: hear the entire disc – which is available to stream on YouTube and download for free on Criolos official website.
