Daniela Spalla

It’s been a couple of busy years for Argentinean-born, Mexican-based singer-songwriter Daniela Spalla after the release of her acclaimed full-length debut, “Ahora vienen por nosotros”. The record was followed by a series of popular videos and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination and quite a few new fans.

But last year, she finally focused on songwriting again, and recently we have a chance to hear the first taste of her upcoming material. “Prefiero Olvidarlo”, or “I would rather forget this”, is the first single from Daniela’s still untitled second album.

The song was co-written by Clemente Castillo from the band Jumbo, and the new record will apparently include more collaborations like this one. “Prefiero Olvidarlo” is accompanied by a video directed by a creative Mexican group called Colectivo Colmena, which means Beehive Collective and we love it.
