Chinese indie / dream / noise pop at its best.

Changsha’s Early Park (鳄梨帕克), whose brisk yet nimble indie rock, coated in thick layers of dream pop, math rock and noise pop, made them one of last year’s best discoveries return with their debut LP “Bonjoir, Magic Island” (晚安，魔力岛).

There’s a vitality to the band’s sound that washes over you like a warm breeze as spry guitar arrangements and full-bodied vocals push through the clouds, casually waltzing between adolescent exuberance and wistful daydreaming with refreshing certitude.

Indie pop doesn’t get much better.
