Edda

Edda is an uncomfortable figure in the Italian music, but for sure he was one of its protagonist since the ’80s when he founded the legendary band Ritmo Tribale.

Many years have passed since they broke up, and Edda has had to deal with drug addiction, with the help of recovery community and with a precarious job as a builder.

In 2009 he returned to the stage starting a solo career, and has produced three beautiful albums, which are a ruthless cry of hatred towards everything. “Pater” is one of the most direct pieces he’s ever written.

Both musically, governed by a simple structure of drums, bass and guitars, and in the lyrics, a violent declaration of hate towards his father and himself.
