Since her breakthrough last year, Gabriela Jimeno also known as Ela Minus has become Colombia’s new name to catch up with.
After a great single “Jamaica“, in December 2015 she released her debut EP called “First Words”, a three-piece work that gained her mass attention from critics and music lovers alike, as well as a spot in our Best of 2015.
Now she’s back with her new attempt, the follow up EP, “Grow”, again produced by Chilean Andrés Nusser from Astro.
The main single of this EP is “Volcán” (Volcano) a song that finds Gabriela Jimeno experimenting with electricity-like sounds while she sings about overcoming fears by facing them, in a very crystalline Spanish by the way.
“Grow” can be streamed entirely though Soundcloud or Spotify, so don’t hesitate, there’s much more to come from this Colombian marvel in a near future and we are witnessing her rise.
