In Pakistan’s local electronic scene, Eridu has been a name that pops up every now and then with collabs or sometimes a rare live performance in Karachi.

Eridu, often known as Adeel Tahir, has finally released his debut EP, much awaited by those who have been familiar with his music.

“Art as Reason” is a five-track EP released by the Karachi collective Forever South and offers something for everyone. This is a kind of EP that you can hear at different times, in different settings, and take away something new from it every time.

It seems as though since Eridu decided to release his debut, he wanted to offer what he could for everyone, rather than following a specific pattern and limiting himself to one genre. What do you think?
