NOËP

Right away, distant howls and hums lead the track down a rabbit hole of deeper sentiments. The debut single of NOËP caused a warm wave of support among Estonian music lovers.

A given name of the local indie-pop scene adds “electronic” to the genre tag of his solo project.

From the looks of it, an analog Korg synthesizer was used for keys. The organic feel of “Move” is furthered by a rope tensioning sample (at 2:00) as well as cricket’s chirping here and there.

Adding NOËP to my watch-list for ’15, I’ll be hoping the production will draw even more from nature rather than go for digitally clean pop appeal.
