Fármacos

Fármacos are outstanding representatives of the so-called “New Chilean Pop”. Their striking debut album, “Los días más largos”, has been applauded for its glossy electro-pop sound both in Chilean media and abroad.

They combine synthesizers with soft guitars, and in some of their more ambient songs you might hear influence of Mogwai and Brian Eno.

“Lento” (“Slow”) is the band’s third single, a ballad updating electro-pop sound just like Javiera Mena did in the first generation of Chilean pop. If you like it, you can hear Fármacos’ debut album on their Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
