On today’s menu, Foolish Green’s warming tunes that will make you feel like a space traveler in the next 5 minutes!
Foolish Green is a five-piece indie psychedelic rock band from Skopje. After 4 years since the band’s last single release, the opening track “Soul Revival” from the upcoming second album is finally here. The new video, edited by Dragan Spasov and directed by Karel Zeman, contains footage from “Baron Prasil (The Outrageous Baron Munchausen)” from 1962.
On 15 March 2013, the band released their debut album “Escape” which was followed by two sold-out promo concerts in Skopje. Six years later, on the same date, they presented their new music. The album was planned to be released earlier, but sadly their recordings were damaged in a fire in their studio. So here they are, reviving their soul and music.
We missed their good sweet empathic melodies. Looking forward to the album release! This incredibly satisfying track can easily join David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” on a round-the-universe journey.
“This is the first, the wildest and the wisest thing I know: that the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness.” – Mary Oliver
