Galel Maidana a.k.a. GAL is an Argentinean filmmaker, who directed films like “La Asamblea”, “La parte ausente” and some other TV series. But this year he released his musical debut.
The record called “Honduras” is comprised of 10 songs produced by Ulises Conti. His cinematic influence are quite clear in this material. “Honduras” is an album about a romantic crooner who wanders from bar to bar, and from club to club in an almost empty city – accompanied by a powerful orchestra.
We chose its opener, “La verdad”, for sharing with beehype listeners. In this song, he introduced us to the singer Noe Mourier from the band Coco.
