While many popsongs finish after 2’53, that’s about the time where High Hi starts singing in this one. High Hi is yet another band that used Humo’s Rock Rally as a trampoline.
A bit less than one year after reaching the finals in this rock contest, the boys and girl are positioning themselves as Belgium’s best postpop band.
“Calm Down Sir”, accompanied by the video directed by Maarten Verhulst, is moving on the edge of shoegaze, garage, lo-fi and noisepop. And makes you want to sing along even way before the vocals kick in.
