Monumental 3-part 15-minute track “Shallow River” is a demonstration of Ida Jenshus’s both musical imagination and her self-confidence.
It’s taken from her fourth album, “Let it Go”. Produced by Kåre Christoffer Vestrheim and featuring the Shining bassist Tor Egil Kreken among other guest musicians, it first of all showed that the Trondheim/Oslo singer and multi-instrumentalist is an outstanding persona not only in the Norwegian, but in the global scene.
