One of Croatia’s most talented singer-songwriters, Irena Žilić is back with a captivating new video “The Moon”, quite faithful to its title.

The first time we introduced Irena Žilić, she had just released her debut album “Travelling” that also ended up high in our Best of 2014. But it’s definitely time to write about her again.

After her first album, Irena played a lot of concerts (she just performed before Skye and Ross from Morcheeba as their support act, by the way). Now she is motivated to find inspiration for a new material, which is expected to be released next year.

Her approach to recording songs has changed. Everything she does now happens in the studio with the producer Mark Mrakovčić, who is one of the best producers in Croatia currently. Irena’s new sound is clear on the latest video, “The Moon”, which is more complex and darker, and it shows Irena in a more seductive way.
