A newcomer hailing from Jaffa, Tzlil Danin first came to prominence in 2012 by guest-singing on “Ata Gomer Oti”, a hit single off of the last album by a popular Israeli band, Metropolin.

Now, three years later, she emerges as a self-aware solo artist with her very first track, “City Friends”.

Sensuous and dark, the song artfully balances contemporary influences of trip-hop and indie-pop with a subtle Middle-Eastern flavor. Depicting universal themes of urban alienation, friendship and love, it is accompanied by a black-and-white video featuring dense cityscapes of Tokyo. A truly global conjuncture.
