It’s a good thing to see a new generation of artist embrace the Dutch language in their music.

Amongst them is 25 year old Janna Lagerström who builds on a tradition of the likes of Spinvis and Eefje De Visser. Lagerströms impressionistic lyrics fit well with the eerie and layered production of her music.

Debut single Telefoon (“Telephone”) begins quite minimalistic but evolves into a shimmering gem full of crystal clear vocals and soothing guitars.

Janna did an extensive solo tour throughout The Netherlands this fall and got raving reviews for her shows. We can’t wait for this promising artist to release more music and we’re pretty sure 2019 will be a big year for her.
