Just a few months Jenny Hval delighted us with “Meshes of Voice”, her collaborative album with another Norwegian artist Susanna Wallumrød.

“That Battle Is Over” comes off of the songwriter/multi-instrumentalist’s upcoming album “Apocalypse, girl”, to be released on June 9th.

With Hval’s versatile, perfectly harmonized voice accompanied by drums, organs and synthesizers, the single promises a record that should excite not only fans of Laurie Anderson or Kate Bush, but simply everyone with a pair of open ears.
