Kali Uchis portraits (and lives) the life of a Californian lowrider princess. Born in the 90’s, she migrated with her family from Colombia at the age of 7. What’s most distinct about her is the do-it-yourself extravaganza mixing hip-hop, soul, samples, R&B and a little bit of kitsch imagery. Her songs go from love to loss within seconds, but our love grows with every listen.
