One of the best new world music acts in Croatia in 2018 has certainly been Zagreb-based group Kazan.

Even though Kazan is a new collective, all members are already known as artists who prefer traditional music of Balkans.

So there is no surprise that their first album “Ružo” (in English “Rose”) has such wonderful tunes, combining folk, etno, sevdah…

One of the latest singles from this record is “Ravno polje” (“Flat Field”), which shows the beautiful music heritage of Croatia.
