Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica is a pseudonym of the singer and guitarist Vasco Brondi. He mixes shoegaze, post-punk attitude and the tradition of Italian songwriters. His emotional and direct music along with lyrics influenced mostly by social and political themes made him one of the most successful songwriters in the Italian independent scene.

“Firmamento” seems to be a mash-up of C.C.C.P. and My Bloody Valentine, with a little bit of Rino Gaetano.
